99.5 KKLA's Frank Pastore Show Wins 2011 NRB Radio Program of the Year Award
GLENDALE, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 12/17/10 -- Salem Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: SALM) is proud to announce 99.5 KKLA Radio's Frank Pastore Show was named 2011 Radio Program of the Year today by the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB). The Frank Pastore Show was specifically selected for impacting listeners in a compelling, relevant, informative, personable, and entertaining way, while demonstrating an authentic Christian faith. Pastore will receive his award during the NRB's 68th Annual Convention, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee February 26th to March 1, 2011.

Since 2004, Frank Pastore has inspired an eager southland drive time audience with his straight-style and unique blend of religion and politics. His show is heard from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. weekdays.
Pastore is the big-league skeptic who found faith at the cross as a former professional baseball player with graduate degrees in both theology and political science. Frank pitched for the Cincinnati Reds from 1979 through 1985 before ending his eight-year major-league career with the Minnesota Twins in 1986.
He is the author of the 2010 Tyndale Publishing release Shattered: Struck Down but Not Destroyed.
