News Talk 1380 KTKZ & KFIA 710 AM Score Big with Football Play-by-Play Contracts; Salem Communications Stations Sign Four Universities for Saturday Coverage

SACRAMENTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 30, 2005--Sacramento radio stations News Talk 1380 KTKZ-AM and KFIA 710 AM have secured the rights to broadcast the 2005 season football games from four regional universities. News Talk 1380 KTKZ will broadcast games from the California State University, Sacramento Hornets and the University of California, Berkeley Golden Bears. KFIA 710 AM will air games from the Stanford University Cardinal and the University of Nevada Wolf Pack.

"Each week, we will deliver complete play-by-play to the large number of alumni and fans who live in and around Sacramento. Fans no longer will have to roam around the radio dial looking for their favorite team. We will have them covered with only two AM dial positions, 710 and 1380."

Beginning September 3 and running through November 26, News Talk 1380 KTKZ and KFIA 710 will broadcast a total of 44 games on Saturday afternoons and evenings. The first game airs on September 3 with Sacramento State University taking on the Golden Bears of Cal on KTKZ at 3:30 p.m.
