DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 25, 2004--Salem Communications Corporation (Nasdaq:SALM), the leading radio broadcaster focused on religious and family themes programming, announced that KNUS-AM (710AM) and KRKS-FM (94.7 FM) will host the first ever Family Expo on April 2nd and 3rd at the Douglas County Events Center fairgrounds in Castle Rock. More than 60 businesses and organizations serving the Denver Metro area will be on hand to provide support and resources to meet the needs of busy parents and families.

According to Brian Taylor, general manager of Salem Media of Colorado, the stations are looking to fill a need that exists in the Denver Metro area.

"We hear daily that parents are looking for resources to help them navigate parenting and other 21st century parenting issues. Currently, there is no Christian-centered event supporting families in the entire Metro area. Through our stations, we are connected to so many superior organizations that creating this event just made good family sense," said Taylor.

There will be hands-on demonstrations, live broadcasts and entertainment including live broadcasts of the Gina Geraci Show, Mr. Fixit and the Mike Boyle Restaurant Show, entertainment from S.o.K on Friday evening and KidzArk with Jay Littlefield on Saturday. Also, a special Kids Korral will provide enclosed, secure supervised play area for children to allow parents to attend workshops and seminars. ColoradoKids.com and Banker's First Mortgage are sponsors of Family Expo. A full listing of events and times are attached.
