Salem Communications proudly accepted the Impact Award for its contemporary Christian music format, The Fish.

John W. Styll, GMA President, said, "We congratulate The Fish and are proud of the contributions this new radio format has made and will continue to make towards furthering our shared goal of increasing the impact of Christian and gospel music."

The Impact Award is presented to the non-artist individual or organization that has made the most significant contribution to the gospel music industry.
