John Peroyea Promoted to Corporate Vice President of Operations

CAMARILLO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Salem Communications announces the promotion of John Peroyea to the Salem corporate position of Vice President of Operations. John will continue to serve as General Manager of KLTY (94.9FM) in Dallas, Texas, but will pick up the oversight of additional radio stations.

John joined Salem Communications eight years ago and has built one of the nation's outstanding radio stations, taking it to the top five position (women 25-54) in Dallas 22 out of the last 24 reporting periods. John's 35-year career in broadcast management began shortly before he acquired his first radio station at the age of 23. Since then, John has served as President of several different radio groups including Progressive Broadcasting Corporation, Narragansett Radio, and Powell Broadcasting Company. He has served as President of the Greater Dallas/Ft.Worth Association of Radio Broadcasters for over seven years. KLTY has been nominated for the prestigious Marconi award five times and has won it four times out of five.
