Salem Names Gary Vaile as General Manager for KDIS, Little Rock, Arkansas

CAMARILLO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 01/20/14 -- Salem Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: SALM) announced today that Gary Vaile has been named as General Manager of the company's soon-to-be acquired KDIS FM in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Vaile has spent his entire radio career in Little Rock including tenures as General Manager for three stations.

David Santrella, President of Salem's Radio Division, stated, "Gary brings the whole package to us for this market. He's a local guy with many years in radio management and ownership and he has vast experience in formats similar to our core formats. We look at Gary as a perfect fit for this new acquisition."

Vaile will begin with Salem on January 20, 2014.
