WAVA Names Michael Hamer Local Sales Manager
WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Michael Hamer has been named Sales Manager for Washington, D.C.'s Life Changing Talk Radio WAVA 780 AM and 105.1 FM. Effective immediately, Hamer takes responsibility for overseeing sales, marketing and promotion for the stations that serve the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. region with premier Christian teaching and talk programs aimed at helping listeners more effectively meet the challenges of everyday life.

Hamer brings more than 25 years of local media sales expertise to the Salem stations, including sales management experience with news/talk ratings dominator WTOP Radio. Michael Hamer is originally from Gary, Indiana. He attended Boston University where he graduated with a degree in communications/advertising.
Earlier this year WAVA won the National Religious Broadcasters Association "Station of the Year" award.
