News Talk 990AM WNTP Adds ``This Week in Pro Football''
Tuesday, August 30, 2005 10:43 am PDT"As we're already home to the AFL's Philadelphia Soul, as well as Villanova and Penn State gridiron action, WNTP is fast becoming the Delaware Valley's football authority," adds Whitnah. "'This Week in Pro Football' will take our coverage to the next level."
NFL and fantasy football fanatics will find out who's hot, who's hurt, and who belongs on the bench, according to the show's co-hosts, Pat Callahan and Tim McManus. The pair will preview the week's games, pick winners, update injury reports; and detail the Philadelphia Eagles match-up. In addition to taking calls from fellow NFL devotees, the pair will also field reports and analysis from the show's at-large correspondents: Sal Paolantonio, the Emmy-Award winning reporter for ESPN; and Michael Fabiano, the "Fantasy Guru" from CBS Sportsline. Says Callahan: "This show is geared to the real NFL fan ... one who follows the Eagles, and the entire league. It's old school."
The weekend call-in show has developed a faithful following since its premiere three years ago in nearby Vineland, NJ. "This Week" will be heard Sundays from 10 a.m. to noon on News Talk 990AM WNTP, and worldwide at wntp.com.
