Salem Communications to Sell WCCD -1000 AM- in Cleveland

CAMARILLO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 20, 2005--Salem Communications Corporation (Nasdaq:SALM), the leading radio broadcaster focused on Christian and family-themed programming, announced that it has agreed to sell WCCD (1000 AM), Parma, Ohio, (Cleveland market) to New Spirit Revival Center Ministries, Inc., for $2.1 million.

Salem owns and operates five radio stations serving the Cleveland area including News Talk WHK (1420 AM) , Sports Talk WKNR (850 AM), The Fish(R) WFHM (95.5 FM), and Christian Teaching and Talk stations WHKW (1220 AM), and WHKZ (1440 AM), which serves Warren, Ohio. Errol Dengler is vice president and market manager for the Cleveland cluster of radio stations.
